Music Samples from Recordings

Sample quality

From this page you can listen to samples from some of Tirimo's recordings.
There are two versions of each sample:

56k - Mostly 30-40 seconds in length and of FM radio quality.
Smaller file sizes mean these versions take about 1-2 minutes to download using ordinary dialup internet connections.
Broadband - Mostly 45-60 seconds in length and of near CD quality.
These versions should take less than 30 seconds to download over a broadband connection. The faster your connection, the sooner you will hear the music after choosing a sample.

Downloading the samples

When you click on one of the sample links below, the sample will then download. When the download is complete, most modern browser will play the sample automatically. When you click on a sample link in older browsers, you will be given the option of either opening the sample file (which will download it and play it automatically) or saving it to your hard drive (you will then have a copy of the sample you can play back at any time).

Whatever browser you are using, you can save the sample to your hard drive (to play back later) by right clicking the sample link and choosing the "save target as" or "save link as" option from the popup menu.
